Make Up Review: Natio Loose Powder in 'Translucent' / Face of Australia Loose Powder in 'Outback Translucent'

As I have mentioned previously, I have been on the search for a 'clear' loose powder that won't add colour to my face when applied.  Mainly, to set the concealer I apply under my eyes so I don't find it melting off my face during the day!

So what am I looking for?  First off, I don't want the powder to look or feel cakey, emphasise fine lines, break my skin out or appear dry-like on my skin.  Oh and one more thing..PLEASE for the love of god, do not contain Bismuth Oxychloride.

I'll overlook the fact that it contains talc (a cheap cosmetics filler to bulk up a product, though it does act as an oil absorbing agent).

Ingredients

Talc
is a naturally occurring silicate mineral (any group of substances containing negative ions composed of silicon and oxygen) of magnesium. Current, extensive research indicates there is no increased risk of lung cancer when using talc-based products or for those involved in the manufacture of talc products. It is mainly used as a filler in products to bulk it up. It is also an absorbing agent to “dry” up natural skin oils. Is known to cause breakouts for some users.

Zinc Stearate The zinc salt of stearic acid. It has multiple functions in cosmetics, including serving as the basis for soap. Also serves as a colouring agent, slip agent, and thickening agent in cosmetics.

Iron Oxides (Ci 77489, 77491, 77492)

Methylparaben is a non-natural preservative and an anti-fungal agent used in cosmetics. It has a broad spectrum activity against bacteria, moulds, and fungus that can contaminate cosmetics. Studies indicate that methylparaben applied on the skin reacts with UVB leading to increased skin aging and DNA damage.

Propylparaben occurs as a natural substance found in many plants and some insects, although it is manufactured synthetically for use in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and foods. It is a preservative typically found in many water-based cosmetics, such as creams, lotions, shampoos and bath products.
